[Monday Success Reflections with Apeh] 6: He has gone before you

Hello Apeh,

I understand very well that one the challenges facing you is the ability to wake up weekly and feel that urge that all things will work out well. We desire this to be our realities but they are never always so. Sometimes, we actually wake up into our week with several uncertainties of what the day will bring. We are not quite sure of what will work and what will not, and also not sure of what to pursue and what to leave behind and move on. This can be a very tough situation to handle for the ordinary man.

But for someone with faith and belief in God, it does not have to be like this week-in, week-out. You can have several assurances that things can get better by the day. And to achieve this in your daily life, family and work, there is one important mindset you must adopt. Today’s Success Reflection is going to be based on that mindset – Knowing that God has gone before you.

This is one of the most powerful and ever conquering mindset held by every successful men or women who have overcome mountains and obstacles that seemed unsurmountable by men. When you see a man marching fiercely with boldness and courage towards a mountain, be sure that it is not just because he believes that giants do fall down but also because he is aware that he is not alone but with someone or some force or some authority bigger and more powerful than the giant he’s confronting.

When we think of men like Noah, Abraham, Job, David, Jehoshaphat, Paul, Peter, etc, we will discover that these men held to the promises of God in the Scriptures to always go before us and make every crooked way straight and level down every mountain, to never leave nor forsake us, to be with us even to the end of the world. He says ‘And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.’ I feel that there is assurance that can strengthen the heart of any man more than these words from the word of God towards those who have faith and believe in Him.

So this week, you will still be stepping out to work, school and other affairs of your life. There is no assurance that it will be smooth and rosy. At the same time, you can trust that God will go ahead of you to clear the way and make things work in your favour. Therefore, I would rather believe that no matter what I will face in this week, all things will work for my good, than to be fearful and discouraged.

Hence, as you go out this week, be assured that He gone before you. He has experienced what you are about to experience so, He will give you the grace to withstand. He has fought the battles you are about to fight, so He will give you the courage and strategies to win. He was encountered the troubles you are about to face, so He will give you the comfort to stand firm.

He has gone before you. This week, you do not have to be afraid of the darkness. Every crooked way is made straight, every mountain levelled and every raging storm calmed for your sake. Be not afraid. Only believe. And I will see you again next Monday walking behind in the steps of the Master, guided and shielded by Him.

Introducing you to the Love2DLoveless Project
Let me share with you how you can make a difference in a simple way through one of our project called Love2DLoveless

Love2DLoveless is a charity initiative targeted at motherless children and the less privileged youths in our society, to bring them love when they do not have any. You may not be able to go and see these people but you can give anything (material, financial, prayer, administrative support, etc) toward this project. This year, the project will be held on 14-15 February. This year, we will be visiting a Motherless babies’ home in Anyigba, Kogi State.

However, if you would to partner with this project, you can email me at jabulaniapeh@yahoo.com and you will definitely get a response immediately we receive your email. I will be waiting to hear from you. Join us and make a difference in a child’s life this month!
